Developing Countries Are Useful

After seeing the Ted Talk, “To help solve global problems, look to developing countries” I was able to see why and how the developing countries were able to discover such great solutions. The reason that the innovations are able to happen in these countries is no convenience, however, it is the mindset and the stakes that they have that bring these legitimate inventions to life. One example of the reason that they are forced to develop these innovations is that they can keep their human rights constant with the rest of the world. An example of this for the vaccines and for the temperature that they need to be stored in. The detectors are able to scan a code that shows if they are legitimate or not and then use the ones that are good. The stakes are high here because not receiving the proper vaccine could result in death or crippling for the rest of their life. It is in these situations that innovations are able to come through for basic human rights. For there to be a major change, major organizations have to care about the people more and collaborate to ensure a good product. This is needed for the struggling people that are in these countries that depend on the goodness of these companies. Some people that depend on these are the athletes that need good crops to eat to compete and people that just want to sell legit crops so that he can afford for their kid’s school. Since the stakes are high for many of these people, they must depend on resourceful innovations so that they can receive the same basic human needs and rights as those in the 1st world countries.
